The GiveMe5 Teen Film Festival is a showcase and discussion of short films by Rhode Island teens.
Films of up to 5 minutes (thus the name "GiveMe5!"), by teen filmmakers from around the state, are screened, followed by a feedback session from a panel. The panel this year includes: Steven Feinberg, Director of the RI film & TV Office; Saul Ramos, Co-Director of the Latin American Film Festival; and award-winning New York producer (and Cumberland native) Erika Hampson. Special guest emcee, back by popular demand, is Robert Capron, Jr. from Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Come get to know our newest RI film artists and support their work!
GiveMe5 is free and open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-served.
Suitable for teens and older. Please note that some films may contain serious subject matter.
PLEASE NOTE: Theater space is wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms are on the first floor but not yet wheelchair accessible. If you will require accommodation, please call Sherry at 222-6994 by May 9 and arrangements for facilities will be provided.
